About JJM

Many pastors from around the world travel to the United States to earn academic degrees that will further their ministries. It normally takes 3-4 years to receive a seminary degree. By the time they have completed their education, the pastors and their families have become accustomed to the living conditions in the States and they sometimes decide to stay in the US, rather than return to their homeland. That decision means the church they previously pastored may have to close its doors because they no longer have a shepherd to lead them.

The more we observed this pattern, the more we realized it was a sad thing to close the doors of any church, let alone a church with a congregation who desperately needed their pastor to teach them and lead them to Jesus Christ. We prayed and asked God to help us help the desperate congregations around the world who were without a pastor. God answered our prayers by simply saying, “Why not take the education to them?”

In obedience to God’s word for us, we began Jehovah Jireh Ministries. (Jehovah Jireh means God Provides.) God has been providing us with opportunities for professors to go to other locations in the world to teach. Instead of one pastor advancing, the professor works with 20-25 pastors who learn with peers and can continue to grow in their fellowship.

We look forward to the future God has planned for Jehovah Jireh Ministries and we encourage you to watch our website for updates as the ministry grows in service, first to God, then to pastors and church leaders around the world.
